ASSOCIATION OF PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOLS
(ETOL ry)- A joint interest organization and channel for cooperation between circus and theatre schools teaching basic education in the arts in Finland.
Join our activities, receive current information and come to meet your colleagues from all over Finland at joint events, meetings and trainings.
ETOL ry's main tasks are
• promoting the availability and accessibility of circus and theatre arts education
• advocacy; promoting the status of member schools and advancing the general position of basic education in the arts in the fields of Circus and Theatre
• providing peer support and creating networks
• promoting the professional and artistic activities of member schools
• promoting domestic and international cooperation in the field of theatre and circus hobbies
• organising training and network-meetings for the members
• making the activities and goals of circus and theatre schools more known
. cooperation with similar associations from other fields of art
ETOL ry is a member of the Finnish Association for Basic Education in the Arts (Taiteen perusopetusliitto aka TPO-liitto), and the Finnish Center for AITA/IATA.
The Finnish Association for Basic Education in the Arts (TPO-liitto) is a guardian, expert and active influencer of basic education in the arts, highlighting its importance and position in a changing society. The focus is on the cooperation of the member associations, which unites the art schools, the people working for the organizations - and all fields of art. The chairman of ETOL ry, Merja Koskiniemi, is currently on the board of TPO-liitto.

AITA/IATA Finnish Centre is a part of an international larger network of amateur theatres worldwide; AITA/IATA International.
The Finnish Center informs its Finnish members about international and Nordic festivals, seminars and courses in the amateur theatre field, as well as about the participation of Finnish amateur theatre groups and individual amateur theatre players in international events. The Centre also disseminates information about the Finnish amateur theatre field abroad. ETOL ry's member schools are regularly being offered opportunities for international activities through AITA/IATA.
